I'm Dana Keller. I was a high school English teacher for 32 years. I’m also an author, nonfiction writer, and poet who dabbles in woodworking, metal sculpture--and of course, photography. 

I picked up photography later in life, mostly for fun,  but as I progressed, I started playing around with different genres–being creative and honing my craft. For me this venture is about keeping me busy, giving me a creative outlet, keeping me in touch with the world, and having some fun.

Let's be clear: I'm no pro.

I’m not the best photographer you can get, but I hope my work speaks for itself, so please check out my galleries to see the kind of work I do. But I’m up for anything: portraits, events, favorite places, activities, family shoots, milestones, picture corrections, sports, pets, and a bit of graphic design. And any idea you have.

On the whole, I’m a guy who keeps things pretty simple, and that’s true for my photography. I don’t have a studio, fancy lights (I have some), props, or a list of exotic places where pictures can be taken.

You and I can sit down to work such things out. I will bring a lot of ideas to the table, but I will also rely on you for suggestions about places, props, and the types of photographs you would like.

I’m all about working together to get you what you want.

I work primarily in Summit and Portage counties, but I'm flexible.
