Pricing
What's Included: Prices include all meetings, travel, planning/preparing, time spent shooting, and photo processing--for every hour spent shooting there is usually more than an hour of processing.
Prints: I don't offer prints. You will receive a link to a Google Drive folder of high-resolution JPEGS that are ready for printing or posting.
How This All Works:
- Every shoot is unique, so you and I will work out pricing based on what you want.
- As a baseline, if a shoot takes about an hour, the base price for everything is $200, and we can work from there based on your wants and needs. But before you and I get down to price, we will meet (either in person or via video) so that you can share what you want from me. I will also send you a client survey where you can document exactly what your expectations are--and then we will draw up a contract.
- We will have a mutually-satisfactory agreement all worked out before any work begins.
A Couple Further Notes:
- I don’t want my work to be out of anyone’s financial reach, so please let me know if you and I need to work through some compromises that can meet both our needs.
- I often work for no charge for groups that don’t have a photography budget. This has included schools, municipalities, public festivals, and parades/rallies. While he made plenty of money, Benjamin Franklin did not patent all of his inventions because he wanted them to be part of the common good. In general, I share that sentiment.
Payment Collection:
- I collect all payments through a PayPal business account, which should allow you to offer payment via a variety of digital resources on your end. I'm also open to other options.
- You will pay a 30% deposit after an agreement is made and before shooting begins.
- Within a week, you will receive a link where you can see and approve your pics; they will be in low-res at this point.
- Upon full payment, all hi-res pics will be released to you.
- Within a week, you must download the pics to your device; I do not offer storage.
